Cooling and air conditioning:
Defense and protection

To offer specific, reliable and robust solutions that can be integrated into a wide variety of equipment.
In the fields of defense and protection, the reliability of equipment is not an option: it determines the safety of operators, the effectiveness of missions and the protection of critical infrastructures.
Whether military or civilian, these systems often operate in extreme environments, subject to high thermal stresses. Cooling and air conditioning of the equipment then become essential functions, just like electronic or mechanical performance.
Defense equipment today incorporates increasingly complex and powerful technologies: sensors, radars, detection systems, on-board computers, communication tools or control devices.
This increase in power is accompanied by a significant production of heat, which can impair performance, cause measurement drifts or, in the most critical cases, lead to irreversible breakdowns.
A suitable cooling system helps maintain optimal operating conditions, regardless of stress or climatic conditions.
In applications such as mine clearance, thermal reliability is directly linked to human safety. The robots, vehicles, or portable equipment used must operate continuously, sometimes in high temperatures, without loss of precision or interruption. Controlled cooling ensures the stability of electronic systems and the operational availability of equipment in the field.
Radar, communication systems, and defense detection devices are prime examples of the importance of cooling. Their accuracy depends directly on the thermal stability of their components. Poorly controlled temperatures can affect range, data reliability, and transmission continuity.
Transporting sensitive equipment, whether electronic components or protective devices, also requires rigorous thermal management. Temperature variations, thermal shocks, or condensation can compromise the integrity of the equipment. Robust climate control solutions ensure its preservation throughout the entire supply chain.

We are also able to offer solutions for many civilian applications, such as cooling for passenger and baggage screening gates, scanners and package inspection devices, video surveillance systems…
On land, at sea, in the air, whether fixed or mobile (shelters): we adapt our air conditioners and coolers to every need.
Robustness, reliability, performance and compliance with the strictest standards are at the heart of each project, in order to sustainably support those involved in protecting people and territories.
Of course, we are committed to total confidentiality on your project if it requires it, and are available to open our doors to you and allow you to audit our processes in their entirety.
Examples of achievements

CLC 40 air conditioners, for Daher Aerospace
(> Mine clearance equipments)
For many years now, we have been supporting Daher Aerospace with the design and manufacture of series of air conditioners intended for outdoor installation at various European operating sites.
Beyond the technical constraints (weather resistance, optimal reliability, ease of installation, etc.), this project offers us the opportunity to regularly make improvements to our industrial process and to undertake product optimizations in perfect collaboration with the client’s engineering teams.

CLC 50 air conditioners, for SPIE
(> Parachute storage and transport)
In the defense field, every detail counts, including the reliability of parachutes used in air operations.
Discover here the project we carried out with SPIE to design air conditioners specially adapted for removable fitting on parachute transport containers.
