ACTIVE AIR CONDITIONERS

What is an active air conditioner?

An active air conditioner is a device that produces cold in an “autonomous” way (as opposed to “exchanger” type devices that will use a “primary” cold source: cold air, cold water…).

To produce cold, an active air conditioner incorporates a refrigeration circuit: this is a closed system (mainly comprising a compressor, an expansion valve, an evaporator and a condenser) in which a refrigerant circulates which, by changing state, will transport calories to extract them from the cabinet (or room, or shelter…) to be cooled.
