// EURODIFROID CSR Charter //
Our social and environmental commitment begins with a synthesis of existing actions and future projects, through a CSR Charter (which can be downloaded below in our article).

The purpose of this document is to provide a very concise overview of our actions in the social and environmental fields, and to list our actions and commitments for the future.
Indeed, we are increasingly being questioned or concerned about these issues:
- By our customers or industrial partners, who, rightly so, are vigilant about the practices of their suppliers;
- But also by the new generations of our employees who join us, and who have a strong culture and sensitivity to the impacts of businesses.
But we are not discovering these problems: it just so happens that, project after project, initiative after initiative, we are already acting on many CSR levers, without necessarily reporting on it.
The time is therefore right to give more structure and visibility to our CSR actions, and to embark on new steps.
Because this CSR charter (which can be downloaded below in our article) is not a conclusion: it is a starting point!
Waht is “CSR”?
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to all the practices implemented by a company to have a positive impact on society and the environment, while remaining economically efficient.
This entirely voluntary approach is based on several fundamental principles, and in particular on:
- The environment (waste reduction and recycling, energy savings, limiting polluting emissions, etc.);
- Social factors (working conditions within the company, safety of individuals and property, equality among employees, employee well-being, etc.);
- And economic ethics (responsible relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners, seeking short supply chains and local partnerships, fair business practices, etc.).
CSR thus encourages companies to integrate sustainable development into their decisions and daily activities, in order to reconcile performance, responsibility and commitment to future generations.

In action at EURODIFROID
We are refrigeration manufacturers.
We design and manufacture devices that integrate into many industrial processes, and we are proud to be able to support many professionals, in France or abroad.
Are we aware of our social and environmental footprint?
Yes.
Especially since our field of activity is associated with issues of greenhouse gas emissions or carbon footprint: even as a “modest” player on a global or European scale, we feel fully concerned.
However, it so happens that, on our scale, we are undertaking numerous actions to control our impact as much as possible and promote good practices.
Without necessarily associating it with the term CSR, we have long since integrated that our products and our organization must take into account energy costs, waste reductions, eco-design or the enhancement of our territorial footprint.
In 2026, our Executive Committee initiated the drafting of our first CSR Charter (available for download below).
This charter serves as a milestone: both a summary of existing actions (and some associated indicators) and an identification of actions to be undertaken to further improve our performance in this area.
Some concrete examples
To develop this document, which addresses cross-cutting and sometimes structuring concepts, we adopt a chapter structure very close to that which governs the ISO 26000 standard (international voluntary standard dealing with “guidelines relating to social responsibility”).
This is a reference framework known to companies and specialists in this field: it seemed logical to us to place our actions within a similar structure.
Across the 6 chapters of our 2026 CSR Charter, we therefore find:

- CSR Governance and Management
A concrete example: A “security” action plan is analyzed and updated twice a month by a cross-functional committee, leading to prevention measures, training, or investments in materials and equipment. - Working relationships and conditions
A concrete example: 100% coverage of mandatory employer-sponsored health insurance (for non-managerial staff), which demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing employees with better access to healthcare - Environment
A concrete example: Our wastewater collection system covers the entire site, as our machine testing (coolers, hydraulic skids, etc.) places a heavy demand on this resource. - Customer and user questions
A concrete example: The implementation of an annual Satisfaction Survey, the results of which are shared with all employees, triggers both immediate contact for certain requests and longer-term improvement actions. - Community and local development
A concrete example: The activation of professional integration schemes (AFEST, PRODIAT, etc.) with our local partners allows us to recruit local talent, either through permanent contracts or apprenticeships. - Human Rights and Fair Practices
A concrete example: managing confidentiality agreements (NDA: Non-Disclosure Agreement) directly in our ERP, allowing a dynamic and shared view of these specific commitments.
These are simply a few examples of concrete actions already in place; we invite you to discover our other actions and upcoming commitments in the full document, here:
What’s next?
The continuation of our CSR commitments will continue to unfold throughout the year.
Actions have already been clearly identified and, in some cases, are being implemented.
Our growth plan goes hand in hand with proactive social and environmental considerations, and we owe it to our clients and partners, first and foremost, to provide a clear and controlled financial report.
We also rely on the dynamism of our employees, particularly newcomers who often have a sharper and more sensitive perspective on these CSR issues.

Are we the most virtuous company in France?
Certainly not: we evaluate our actions with pragmatism and modesty, and we are perfectly aware of the road we still have to travel.
Are we headed in the right direction?
Yes.
We measure our actions, we structure our approach and we wish to continue to improve a number of elements that are important to us and that are now inseparable from our growth ambitions.
