Need help finding your way around?

COOLING – Do you know how to do “low temperature” cooling (-20°C, -30°C, -40°C…)?

No problem: we can adapt the refrigeration circuit and its gas, the hydraulic circuit and the heat transfer fluid, the regulation… to push the limits of cold!

We are regularly consulted for this type of need (for applications in Hydrogen or even in Medical) and our engineers will be able to design and size an effective and reliable product, just the right size for your needs.

COOLING – What is floating HP?

Floating high pressure (HP) is an intelligent technique that adapts the condensing pressure to external conditions, improving energy efficiency and extending the lifespan of refrigeration equipment.

This control strategy is widely used in refrigeration systems: instead of maintaining a fixed condensing pressure (for example, 14 bar, which corresponds to a condensing temperature of around 40°C), the high pressure is allowed to “float” and automatically adjust according to the external temperature or actual heat rejection conditions.

The result: a significant reduction in electricity consumption (10 to 20% savings on average), less mechanical wear on the compressors, all operating automatically without manual adjustments.

COOLING – What is the purpose of a “Water Condenser”?

A water condenser is a system that recovers the heat lost from the heat and transfers it to a water circuit.

It therefore acts as a heat exchanger: it will prevent heat from being lost into the ambient air and will transfer it to a heating need, so that the operating balance of your cooler is as profitable as possible.

With this type of option (such as Floating HP or Capacity Variation, for example), we are therefore able to offer you a device that will be much less energy-intensive: you reduce your operating costs, and amortize the price of the options over a few years of use.

COOLING – What is a skid (or hydraulic skid)?

A hydraulic skid is a prefabricated module that integrates all the hydraulic components necessary for the proper functioning of a cooling (or heating) system into a single chassis (the “skid”).
It typically includes (depending on the specific application): circulation pumps, valves (shut-off, regulating, and safety), buffer tanks (or reservoirs), bypasses, and an automated control system.
It is essentially a turnkey hydraulic power unit, ready to be connected to the existing piping network on-site.
Installation time is therefore significantly reduced, and this system also often offers greater flexibility, increased reliability, and easier maintenance.

In short, this “mini hydraulic power unit” is often a very useful addition for managing hydraulic systems independently of the cooling function.

COOLING – Do you offer devices resistant to harsh conditions or specific products (food, corrosive, viscous…)?

Yes, we offer solutions to improve the lifespan and performance of our devices in a wide variety of environments.

For examples:

  • For thick or high viscosity liquids, we offer specific cooler variants (called “H” for “oil”, in french “huile”), which have more robust hydraulic characteristics, specially adapted (pressures, flow rates, pump powers…);
  • To withstand aggressive or corrosive environments, we offer versions with stainless steel bodies and/or components (fittings, tank, etc.);
  • To withstand high ambient temperatures (+50°C, +60°C, above?), we size the device and its components to guarantee its proper functioning, according to your requirements.
COOLING – What type(s) of refrigerant gas do you use in your air conditioning units?

Our appliances primarily use R134a (replacement in progress), R513A, R407C, or low-GWP HFOs such as R1234yf.
Therefore, depending on your needs, we have the expertise and technical resources to identify the appliance that best meets your requirements, and we can go even further if necessary by offering a specifically tailored product.

In addition, we also offer air/water or water/water heat exchanger cooling solutions which, instead of integrating a refrigerant circuit with a gas, will use either a cold air source or a cold water source to cool your process.
(More information about air conditioning and cooling systems can be found on AFCE.)

COOLING – Do you only manufacture custom-made (one-by-one) devices, or are you able to produce larger quantities?

One of our strengths: flexibility!

If your need is occasional, we will find the most suitable and quickest solution to offer you.

If your needs involve larger production runs (batches, series, etc.), we can adapt our production facilities to support your increased capacity.
Regardless of the product’s size or technical complexity, we have modular industrial equipment (at the workstation or on the production line) and expertise in industrial engineering, allowing us to optimize production costs and guarantee consistent, controlled quality.
