// For hydrogen station : set of RFI 700 and RFI 1800 water coolers //

Leaving our factory: a beautiful RFI 1800 + RFI 700 set for ATAWEY hydrogen station.

Finalization and shipment of a (very nice) cold unit for ATAWEY, specialist in Hydrogen stations, and long-time EURODIFROID customer.

This superb RFI 1800 chiller also comes with an RFI 700 unit with a cooling capacity of 6kW (at -40°C fluid outlet / 5°C condensing network), featuring a two-stage variable frequency compressor and a dedicated electronic control and expansion valve assembly. This unit is more directly used for the distribution function.

Our teams have worked diligently to design, assemble, and test this RFI 1800, dedicated to utility and compression functions, which includes:

  • 2 separate refrigeration circuits, capable of delivering a total power of 144 kW (at 5°C evaporator water / 32°C ambient air);
  • A “floating HP” module (adapting speeds and opening the refrigeration circuit, depending on the temperature difference) to reduce energy consumption;
  • A 400-litre stainless steel tank with an internal circulation pump;
  • The whole system is controlled by a control unit with full ModBus TCP/IP communication, integrating ventilation setpoint management, full regulation and safety features.

It goes without saying that we are putting the best of our cold expertise into being able to meet the precise and demanding requirements of the Hydrogen* sector.

After initial tests at the Chambéry site with our technical teams, we will be heading to Sardinia in the coming weeks for commissioning at the final operating site.
