Cosmetics and luxury achievement:
RFI 2×300 industrial water cooler, for Boccard

Commissioned by the company BOCCARD, this device is installed at a major French luxury manufacturer, in a perfume manufacturing plant.
The cosmetics industry is a field of application with very high added value, where the quality of industrial processes is both a strategic differentiating advantage and a major point of vigilance.
Why are our technical teams here on site?
- The technical reason is that the air extraction (by ducting) initially planned could not ultimately be implemented: our technicians are therefore on site, working to optimize air recycling and thus restore the full cooling potential of our device.

Why “2×300”?
The water or oil coolers in the RFI range are among our “best sellers”: entirely designed by our engineers, they offer modular possibilities to adapt to a multitude of configurations (power, flow/pressure, size, regulation, accessibility, refrigerant…).
In this specific case, the end customer’s requirement is to secure their industrial process as much as possible by opting for complete redundancy of the cooling system.
Therefore, on this RFI 2×300, we find:
- Two 15 kW refrigeration circuits (for -10°C outlet / 32°C ambient air);
- Each operating with R449A refrigerant, with a scroll compressor and a thermostatic MOP expansion valve (pressure limiter);
- One shared 150 L insulated stainless steel tank, also equipped with a dual-circuit system (two centrifugal pumps with stainless steel bodies, flow meters on each discharge, pressure transducers, etc.);
- The entire system is controlled by a Free Advance PLC with TCP/IP connectivity and a series of sensors and contactors to manage safety features on each circuit.
