Operating principle
Case n°1: In lowering temperature phase, setpoint >18°C
The dimensioning of the water/water exchanger ensures sufficient cooling and complete so that the outlet temperature of the thermoregulator meet the desired setpoint.
Case n°2: Setpoint between -10°C and 18°C
The water/water exchanger can't ensure the cooling of fluid because primary circuit temperature is equal or greater than the request setpoint. That's why the 3 way valve ensures a mixture in outlet of thermoregulator, between the back fluid and the fluid stored in the buffer tank.
Case n°3: Setpoint between -10°C and -25°C
Only the frigorific group start when the setpoint is between 0°C and -25°C. Temperature of chiller become the setpoint of the overall equipment to ensure gradually the lowering temperature.
Case n°4: Maintaining low temperature for setpoint under 0°C
The cooling is done by the compressor and chiller. The cold module maintains the tank temperture at the setpoint expected, the heater ensures the precision of +/-2°C while avoiding short cycles of compressor.
Case n°5: Increasing temperature
In increasing temperature phase (setpoint>Tank T°), heater only is start to reach the setpoint temperature. The heater is composed with 2 line resistances.
